Crazy Cast of Characters

Eddie Baxter Mid or late twenties. Lead guitarist and vocalist for Hound Dog Men, his classic rock band. He’s the responsible one in the family, as he sees it. The one who keeps everyone and everything together.
Jolene Morgan A few years younger than Eddie. She’s had a hard life struggling with substance abuse. She’s a song writer without any performing experience.
Del Baxter Eddie’s dad. In his middle or late fifties. Still handsome. A drummer in the band. In the fifties, he had a brief career as an Elvis type singer. Now he’s a Willie Nelson type oldster, having embraced hippydom more than some of the hippies.
Phil Baxter The bass player of the band. Older brother of Eddie, in his mid thirties. He’s married and has a new baby. His wife, whom we never see, works at Tim Horton’s. He’s a decent home-loving guy that always went along with what his little brother did. But now that he has a child, he wants to go his own way.
Tracy Eddie’s age. She was once “the girl singer” of Del’s and Eddie’s country band. That was five years ago. Then she had been Eddie’s girl. The band broke up because of her.
Lorne Baldwin He’s the band’s manager. Phil’s long-time friend since elementary school. As old as Phil. Works as a bookkeeper because managing the band doesn’t bring in much money.
Dave Brooks Early twenties. Plays keyboard. Good looking. Plays well in any genre. Stereotypical musician: easy going, no emotional commitments, only interested in casual females. But he’s a decent enough guy.
